All-around quality team The Ballhawks was taking the baseball world by storm. One day, manager RICHARD POCK decided that he should play on the team, and no one told him No. With such a recruit came the necessity for the Ball Hawks to rename themselves in his honour despite their strong history and brand. Rich is more than just a man, he is a baseball god. Manager, captain, third batter, and Catcher for the The Richards - there is nothing that he cannot do. Thankfully Ricky is willing take one for the team and spend some time on the bench to make way for Richard. 

Following the loss of game 60 against The Glimmers, Rich decided that a change was in order. Ricky's loyalty to the team was to be rewarded with being put back into the line-up, as long as he went by his middle name of Javier. After a terrific season with a spectacular 1.000 batting average for Javier the Richards seemed primed for finals success until his untimely injury against The Baddies. After a quick exist from the finals series some people questioned Rich's management, but he assured everyone that having the inclusion of Javier in the starting lineup would have only worsened their performance. 

Equipped with the most robust anime powers they pose a threat rooted in the ingenuity of Rich. 

Special Rule: If the Richards are in first place halfway through the season, their best batter will be traded to the last-place team for a considerably worse player. This did not occur.

*Fun fact: RICH is statistically the worst player in the league in season 2083.
