Team colors: Peanut Butter and Jelly
HECKIN CUTE is an understatement.
The stakeholders of Puppers watched the success of Glimmers in season '83 and saw the potential for more. Old baseball is dying; it's boring and doesn't trend. But they didn't want Glimmers 2.0. They wanted more. In a quite unconventional move, the owner relinquished their controlling majority of the team to Debbie, a dark-furred Pomeranian with a vision. Instead of butts in seats Debbie wanted caps on heads. Debbie wanted "Puppers" on billboards from New York to Tokyo and have sponsorships to market Big Macs every step of the way. They needed something... something instantly recognisable... something adored. They needed pups.
Already viral, Puppers looks to invigorate the game for the Instagram generation. Can they even play baseball? Does that even matter? Their "Puppers with puppers" '83 calendar sold out before the season started and already has a 6 month waitlist - keep an eye out for Debbie as Ms October.
A chaotic mix of experience and styles means that Puppers could produce anything on any day and against anybody.
