Season 2086 (2026)

Season '83 proved to be a tumultuous campaign that succeeded despite the miasma of issues surrounding it. The backdoor shady deals of fielding supposed "Agent" EVAN BALL in the Beefstuds line-up brought unwanted attention to the action happening off the pitch and questions were raised across the organisation. Falsified reports, redacted information, Beef and Stud still missing, and rumours of game fixing tainted the reputation of an otherwise respectable league, albeit degenerate. 

The only solution was to go back to basics, starting with a reversion to the rules back to Super Ultra Baseball 1,000. The newly created Super Player Registration Act mandates that all players must be registered with a contract containing a maximum of a 5 letter name and cannot play under a pseudonym, have a falsified identity, or be a dog, clone, or a robot. With contracts torn up, 'innocent' teams forcefully liquidated, and a total overhaul of the game format, the sins of the past were finally eradicated. It took two years, but in 2086, we are finally ready to PLAY BALL!
