Once in a generation there is a talent that changes the game and transcends the sport. Your Michael Jordan, Tiger Woods, or Tom Brady. You know nothing about the sport or how they play, but you know THEM. Their name on your jersey generates millions per second and being able to get the clout that money wishes it could buy. The Rapids are betting the house that NIC is that talent. 

NIC was recruited with a lifetime contract from his very first Little League pitch to lead their franchise when the team was ready for him. They weren't even called the Rapids at the time, but NIC's otherworldly work ethic and obsession with cardio meant that total changes were required. Their promotion to the Black Diamond League was over a decade in the making, but the sudden exiting of teams meant they had to take the chance to enter the league even if they were not prepared yet. 

Their entire club could fall to pieces if their freshman year in the Black Diamond doesn't go to plan and result in the complete collapse of the lives of all the players, management, and owners. Despite this NIC is positive, "Its up to everyone else to keep up with us, or they just better get out of my way." Hold on tight as they rocket past you on the bases and throw everything they have at the plate. Where other teams are all show, Rapids are Go Go Go!
